Edge of Reason: Developers Bait Edgy Trademark Troll
Anyone who's been following the adventures of trademark troll Tim Langdell might be amused that his recent few actions against anyone using "Edge" in their game names (iPhone's "Edge" by Mobygames, Mirror's Edge and now "Killer Edge Racing") have been responded to en masse by iPhone developers who have ALL changed their game names to incorporate "Edge."
My favourite is "Edgeworth McEdgeington: An Adventure Game About GREED." Making a laughing stock out of this arsehole is just delightful, and probably the only remedy.

What a tool. I hope he gets put in his place. Its funny how EA stepping up to the plate shut him up, though he's at it again apparently.
here's an interesting link: http://chaosedge.wordpress.com/ These guys are a group of developers supporting Mobigames and trying to take this guy down. It would seem that digging around shows Edge Games to be a a sham. Have a read, its gold some of the stuff they have dug up. He's been caught twice stealing peoples work from deviant art to use as box art on his website. This guy is a real piece of work.

Bizarrely, EA's legal team are being rooted for as heroes as they resubmit applications to eradicate the EDGE trademarks.

Latest update: EA have successfully kicked his arse. Sounds like Langdell might even get a follow up for fraud!

The CSIRO being award finally for inventing wifi was a far more significant moment in history, but I dig this one far more.
