Radiant Silvergun coming to XBLA

Seriously. OMG. I know there's been rumours about this for a while, but it's finally happening: The greatest video game you've never played is coming to XBLA with updated graphics and online co-op.

This is, without question, the greatest news in the history of the entire universe.

Of course, the downside is that the resale value of my original Saturn copy just dropped by about half.

i was so excited when i saw this today. made my day.
ive been playing through S&P2 last week and it reminded me how much i love treasure games.

I never got a chance to play RS (made up for it with way too many hours of Ikaruga)
Once again i love XBLA

Unfortunately I don't get to play XBox on weeknights, and I'm super-rusty at Ikaruga (can't even chain Chapter 1 anymore ).

I cant even chain half of chapter one... had about a third down at one stage but after that I just go to pieces

My friend and I got pretty good at it a few years ago. He could S+ chapters one and two, and I could S chapter one and A chapter two.

Neither of us could get anywhere on chapter 3, though, so we never 1CCed it.

Yeah on a really good day I can make it to the chapter 2 boss on one credit, then I've used my other remaining 7 credits before the chapter 3 boss lol

Stormin. you were in our hyper comp back in the day werent you?

i know what you mean about being rusty, i had got to the point on the GCN version where i could get to the level 4 boss on 1 credit (not every time mind you, the spinning laser wheel of death at the start can go so horribly wrong so very quickly). could chain all of level 3 (that took soooo much practice, i hate the end boss) and could S++ chap 1 every time.

then when the 360 version came out i had forgotten almost everything and it was very frustrating being so crap again. (still lots of fun though)
