Yeah, the Zweihander was a bit of a joke. =p

I'd switched to a shield with a higher magic block percentage, but I'd completely forgotten about two-handed wielding. Thanks a bunch!

I hate Blightown so much, really can't get out of here soon enough.

Theres a shortcut that lets you skip almost the entire level, puts you near a bonfire and just a short walk to the boss.

Sick of the slowdown on the 360 version. Only grabbed it as my PS3 is currently on the fritz. Gonna swap it over at EB and get my PS3 fixed next weekend.

*sigh* Consciously denying myself DS.

How bad is the slowdown? The PS3 version has slowdown too, just occasional bits of slowdown except Blightown where there's a fair bit.

No i didn't go that way, was considering backtracking and trying it for a while though. Probably not worth the effort now though. It's not so much that anything in particular is very hard, just its all annoying and it builds up ending in making mistakes.

Yeah, only slowdown i get is a bit in Blightown and for some reason climbing back down the ladder to under the Red dragon.

Also watchin my brother play, if you are human for Bell Gargoyles you can summon that Sun Knight you meat before the dragon to help you. Makes the fight ridiculously easy, not so good if you're trying to cut off the firsts tail for the axe though.
