If you already have the Gamecube version of OoT, is it worth getting the N64 version on VC? I know I'll miss out on Master quest, but are there any other advantages/disadvantages?

The only advantage of the VC version would be you can play the game without a disc and use a classic controller, whether that's an "advantage" at all though, is a matter of opinion. And even if it is an advantage, is it worth $15? I would say no.

Has anyone downloaded Shinobi or Wonderboy? If so, please briefly review.

My vote would also be 'no'.

Besides I can already play Zelda without a disc while using a classic controller. It's called my N64.

N64 games in hi-res and Widescreen mode makes the VC purchase worthy. Also good to see the 2D games getting a HD Component Cable update so they don't look like blurry messes on a HDTV.

Yeah I know. Which was a shame. But just talking in general. [/embarrasing cover up]

Super Proboprotector: Alien Rebels
SNES
Players: 2
Released: 1992
Works With: Classic Controller and Gamecube Controller

A side scrolling shooter, with alien rebels.

Emulation 4/5 - Seems to be exactly as I remember it (when I was in kindergarten) with constant speed and no flickering. Just some colour stuff-ups once in a while is the only fault.

Game 4/5 - A top-notch game that you wouldn't get on the shelves nowadays. It's fast-paced and requires skill with the configuration that is keyed to the GC controller. It needs a few turns to get into it and to get used to the controls but after that, you'll have a fun time with a buddy getting past the hard bosses and vast enemies that appear on screen at one time.

You will need quick reflexes and need to keep an eye on the whole screen all the time as the enemies shots do not stand out that much.

Otherwise, it's a challenging game that is very fun with a buddy and is even more fun with a posse of people, sharing goes and comparing scores.

Default !request!

I have a super-request!

Can someone who has downloaded F-Zero X tell me if it:

a) Is awesome

b) Has the usual smoothed-out N64 graphics?

c) Runs FAST. Like 60hz NTSC fast! Not PAL slow.

Also!

Does the Virtual Console Sonic the Hedgehog game run at slow PAL speed?

That does not bode well for Sonic 2...
