I’ve been developing envious eyes these past couple of weeks. Having completed God of War 3 on the back of a retro revisit to The Darkness, I was feeling well-fed on good gaming. It seemed crazy to think that Red Dead Redemption was just around the corner. Something that fascinates me is how we, as adult gamers, can sometimes exhibit a mindset that is more in line with that of a surly teenager who doesnâ€™t want to go to school. Whereas in those days youâ€™d try and chuck a sickie by faking a cold or perhaps going to the extreme of breaking a limb, these days taking a day off work because an anticipated game is coming out is a bit more questionable.
